Start your career with an apprenticeship!

An apprenticeship is a structured path where you specifically learn everything you need for a particular profession. You gain practical experience both in school and directly on the job. This means you don’t just acquire theoretical knowledge, but also learn how to apply it in real work situations.

There are different types of apprenticeships, each with its own methods and objectives.

Dual education system

This form combines theoretical instruction at vocational schools with practical work in a company. Especially in Germany, this type of training is widespread and considered highly effective, as it closely links theory and practice. While you acquire the necessary expertise at school, you gain practical skills and experience in the company. This model also exists in the case of dual studies.

School-based training

This type of training takes place mainly in vocational schools or other educational institutions. Unlike dual training, school-based training usually does not include practical work in a company. Instead, it focuses on theoretical instruction, often supplemented by internships. This form is particularly suitable for professions in healthcare or business administration.

Company-based vocational training

In company-based training, most of the learning takes place directly within the company. It is accompanied by internal training sessions and development programs. This form of training offers the advantage that you are integrated into the company’s day-to-day operations from the very beginning and learn how internal processes work in practice.

An apprenticeship teaches you all the essential skills and knowledge you need for your profession. It also strengthens your social skills, sense of responsibility, and independence. All of this prepares you optimally for the job market and significantly improves your career prospects. The training process involves several steps:

  • Start with a training contract and registration at a vocational school: The first step in your training begins with signing a contract with a company and then registering at a vocational school.
  1. Theoretical classes: Throughout your entire training period, you regularly attend classes at the vocational school, where you are taught the necessary theoretical knowledge for your profession.

  2. Practical work in the company: At the same time, you work in the training company and apply what you’ve learned directly in practice. This combination of theory and practice ensures that you are thoroughly prepared for your profession.

  3. Interim exams: During your training, you take interim exams that assess your learning progress and show you in which areas you may still need to improve.

  4. Final exam: At the end, you take the final exam. After successfully passing this exam, you receive a recognized professional qualification that opens up numerous career opportunities for you.

The benefits of vocational training are diverse.

You benefit from a hands-on combination of theory and practice, gain early work experience, receive a monthly salary, and enjoy excellent career prospects.

Vocational training provides an outstanding foundation for your professional future, as it offers not only technical skills but also opportunities for personal development. Take this opportunity and kick-start your career!
